Welcome back to a new school year! I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself. I reside in Minster with my husband, Scott, and our three children, Nathan, Kayla, and Emily. We also have a Shih Tzu dog named Gizmo. Needless to say, my children keep me busy with attending their activities and sporting events! As a family we enjoy boating and traveling. In my free time, I love to read.
I graduated from Marion Local in 1989. Following graduation, I attended Bowling Green State University and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in special education in 1993. In 1998, I earned my Master’s degree in elementary education from The Ohio State University.
I have been teaching for 24 years. I taught thirteen years as an intervention specialist and ten years as a third grade teacher. This is my second year as the reading specialist for Title One.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and I am excited to begin the new school year with you.
